Good Day classmates, friends, or daily stalker? In class, we learned about reflector disks. Reflector disks are often used by news reporters, directors, and various creators to enhance lighting in poorly-lit environments. Today, my team members Carroll Kelley (model), D'Vonte Allen (camera man), RJ Staeadman (disk holder), and I (Shamari Blanding; producer for project) took turns in experimenting with the disk.
(Before adding the disk) We started off without using the reflector disk. We wanted to see the difference in lighting when we decided to add the disk after. As you can see, we didn't catch Carroll at a good time here.
Last but not least, RJ was our holder for the reflector disk experiment!
He shows a silly face in victory of a successful assignment.
TAKE AWAY:
I had so much fun doing this assignment and what made it even better was to be outside and do something different for class today. I learned that I do not have to use. a ring light or artificial light to enhance my environments with poor lighting. I can simply use a tool that will reflect the light already being distributed; and by using an angle, I can control that light to be beneficial for whatever project/ task that I am seeking to complete.
Thank you all for reading, watching, listening to my blog! I'll see you next time on another update. Don't forget to meet me in the stars!
xoxo,
Shamari ♡
